From Illustrator to Canvas

I was asked to create canvas art projects based on images from Pinterest. This is a simple procedure once the image has been rendered to its basic graphic form using Adobe Illustrators image trace tool. This also allows the image to be resized without distortion.

Once the image has been finalised it is saved as a pdf document so it can be printed if required over several sheets of A4 paper. The next step is to transfer the image onto the canvas using a pencil carbon technique. Using acrylic paints the final image is very pleasing and can be utilised as a gift or for sale.
