What is JavaScript?

JavaScript is a computer language that allows users to interact with webpage’s.
There are other website scripting languages but JavaScript is the most accepted.
Correctly coded JavaScript is compatible with all the chief browsers such as,
Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, and Safari.
JavaScript is an interpreted language meaning it needs a
programme to interpret it before it can be rendered on a computer screen.
The browsers listed above have inbuilt programmers that interpret the code
and convert it to machine code that the computer can understand.

Creating a JavaScript webpage.

All you need to create a webpage with JavaScript elements is a basic text editor such as Notepad++
and a web browser to interpret and display the page.
This current webpage has been created using Notepad++ and has been written in html and JavaScript.
