There are two entities named BBC - - a television and radio network and a band. 1) The British Broadcasting Corporation (or the BBC) is a television and radio network that launched in 1922. It is the largest broadcasting organisation in the world. Its main responsibility is to provide public service broadcasting in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
